The Sterling Hell Haunted Mine is an annual fundraiser supporting the Ogdensburg graduating eighth-grade class and paying for their yearly class trip to Boston. It is a project run by the eighth-grade class and their families in cooperation with the Sterling Hill Mining Museum and the support of the local community of living and dead souls.
2023 marks the sixth annual Sterling Hell Haunted Mine Event. We look forward to seeing everyone again that may have survived last year's visit! Rumor has it that this will be the best one yet! Don’t miss it! (Unless you never left the mine after last year and you have become a permanent fixture in Sterling Hell... just know that there is no turning back!)
- Dates: October 20 & October 21, 2023
- 5:00-5:50 PM: "Scary but not so scary" tours for the younger kids
- 6:00-10:00 PM: "Very scary, my heart just exploded" tour for those brave enough to venture in!
- Admission: $16 for adult tickets; $12 for children (age 12 and under)
